Satellite Dish Tripod
If you want to have satellite TV in your RV as you tour the country, you do need to have an accessory such as a satellite dish tripod. The tripod
is made from molded heavy duty ABS with the convenient azimuth degree markings already molded into the base. You can easily remove the pole and
the legs attached to this base whenever you travel or store your RV for the winter. The tripod works with a standard 18 inch satellite dish
antenna and mount.
The tripod for a satellite dish is the answer to receiving exceptional TV while you are on holiday so you don't miss any special events, news or
your favorite sports and other
programs. You can mount it on top of the RV or set it on the ground just outside, as long as it is facing the South. Then you connect it to the
receiver inside and tune in the
transponder you need to receive the satellite signal.
The telescopic tripod telescopes down so it takes up minimum space. Whenever you need to set it up, the installation is easy and no tools are
needed. This system lets you install a satellite dish in your home if you live in a place where a dish is not allowed, such as in an apartment
complex.
The low center of gravity of the dish and the tripod prevents the dish from tipping over when you have it on the ground. There is a built in
hanging bracket so you can attach it to
the side of your RV or even the railing of your patio. The location of the dish is critical to you receiving the channels you want on your TV.
Once you have the right location, you can sink the pipe into the ground. The mast will hold the dish in even the worst wind conditions although
most RV owners don't install the dish on the ground if it is really
windy.
